What Puzzle & Print is
Puzzle & Print is a set of eight free printable puzzle and worksheet makers for teachers, homeschoolers and parents. They cover word searches, mazes, bingo cards, math drills, word scrambles and graph paper. Every tool page offers the same two things: sheets that are ready to print now, and a generator that builds a new one from your own words or numbers.
There are 300 ready-made sheets across 75 themed pages, each one a PDF with its answer key on a separate page. Nothing costs money, nothing is held back behind a paid tier, and no part of the site asks for an account or an email address.
Every puzzle is made in your browser
When you type a spelling list, a set of guest names or a child’s name into any tool here, that text stays on your device. It is never uploaded, stored or logged, and there is no copy of it on a server for anyone to lose, sell or be asked to hand over.
This is how the site is built rather than a promise about how we behave, which means you can check it rather than trust it. Open any tool page, disconnect from the internet, and keep working. The puzzle is generated by code already running in your browser, so it does not need us to be there.
What is on every sheet
An answer key, always, on its own page. A sheet can be handed out as it is and marked afterwards without anyone seeing the answers first.
A layout for US Letter at 100% scale, drawn in black and white. Ink is the real cost of a printable, so there are no shaded backgrounds and no full-page colour, and graph and ruled paper are drawn at true measured spacing: a 5 mm grid measures 5 mm on paper.
No watermark, on the screen, the printed page or the PDF. Display advertising pays for the site, and the ads never appear on anything you print.
Who it is for
Teachers and classroom aides working in bulk: thirty unique bingo cards for a party, a week of drills at one sitting, a spelling list turned into a word search in about the time it takes to paste it in.
Parents at home who need something for the next twenty minutes, usually on a phone, usually without wanting to configure anything first. Those people are served by the ready-made sheets, which is why every tool leads with them and offers the generator second.
Common questions
Is Puzzle & Print really free?
Yes, all of it. There is no paid tier, no trial that expires, and no feature held back for a subscription. The site is funded by display advertising, which is why there are ads around the tools and why they never appear on anything you print.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no email address to give. Every tool on the site works without you telling us anything about yourself, and there is no newsletter gate in front of a download.
Can I use these sheets in my classroom or my business?
Yes. Print and use them freely at home, in classrooms, libraries and care settings, including classes you charge for. The one thing you may not do is resell the sheets themselves as a product.
Where do the puzzles come from?
They are generated at the moment you ask for one, by code running in your browser. Nothing is pulled from a library of pre-made files, which is why changing a word list gives you a genuinely different puzzle rather than a different crop of the same one.
Will the sheets print properly?
Every sheet is laid out for US Letter at 100% scale with the answer key on a separate page, so printing needs no scaling or fitting. If a sheet ever prints wrong, tell us and it usually gets fixed.
